Sign inThe desktop app is how you track your time. Install it, then sign in with the same email and password you use on this site.
While its timer runs, it saves a screenshot of every screen about every 10 minutes and counts how many seconds had keyboard or mouse activity. It never records what you type, and it records nothing while the timer is stopped.

- On Ubuntu or Debian, open a terminal in your Downloads folder and run:
sudo apt install ./TimeHub-1.0.4-amd64.deb - On another distribution, make the AppImage executable and run it:
chmod +x TimeHub-1.0.4-x86_64.AppImage && ./TimeHub-1.0.4-x86_64.AppImage - Open TimeHub from your applications menu and sign in.
Screenshots need an Xorg session. If TimeHub warns about this, log out, select your name, choose “Ubuntu on Xorg” from the gear menu at the bottom right of the login screen, and sign in again.

Not sure which? Apple menu → About This Mac shows either a “Chip” (Apple silicon) or a “Processor” (Intel).
- Open the downloaded file and drag TimeHub into Applications.
- Open TimeHub. macOS will refuse the first time; go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the message about TimeHub near the bottom, and choose Open Anyway.
- Sign in, allow Screen Recording when macOS asks (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording), then quit and reopen TimeHub.
